How Confidential is the EAP program?
No one will know you use the program unless you tell him or her. The bills do not have your name on them.
How can it possibly be that confidential?
All claims show only a code number. This is a number established by the West Coast Employee Assistance Program for their internal use. There
is no way for an individual or department to determine an employees’ identity. The policy assures that there will be no repercussions for utilization of the EAP; confidentiality is an important part of the program.
No communication with your employer is allowed without your signed permission.
The employees who used the EAP and responded in our survey stated they were 100% satisfied with the confidentiality of the program.
If you have concerns, let your counselor know. They are happy to call you in the evening at home rather than at the office when scheduling your
appointment.
Why does your company offer the program?
We feel that your employees are our greatest resource. If this program allows them to work through problems that affect heir lives and naturally, their
work, we will all benefit- employee and company.
How do I make and appointment?
Once your company is enrolled with West Coast Employee Assistance Program, just call your Coordinator at (941) 365-4089. The Coordinator is a trained
professional who will refer you to the appropriate therapist who would best meet your needs. If you happen to live outside the Sarasota area, than they will refer you to someone in your region.
How are a few more details about the EAP.
West Coast Employee Assistance Program is an association of mental health professionals committed to providing community-based services to individuals,
groups, families and business corporations. If you prefer to be referred to a counselor other than at the West Coast Employee Assistance Program please tell you Coordinator when you call for your appointment.
